Our favorite face soap.  Made by our friend Claudia of Cleo soaps. Claudia hand pours each bar. The love and care she puts into each piece comes thru.

We rotate between Purple Essence and About Face. Purple Essence is a bit more herbal. About Face is more woodsy.

Ground juniper berries and rose hip powder clean the skin and remove any flaky patches while a blend of soothing oils including avocado, apricot kernel and meadowfoam leave your skin soft and supple. It is scented with refreshing blend geranium, bergamot and blood orange essential oils.

In Purple Essence, moisturizing and exfoliation are reunited and it feels so good.

Saponified oils of Olive, Avocado, Meadowfoam, Apricot Kernel, Coconut, Haitian Castor, Cocoa and Shea Butter. Distilled Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Purple Brazilian Clay, Essential Oils

Ground Juniper Berries offers this bar an extra layer of exfoliating power. To help with blood circulation, rub this onto your skin in circular motions.

Rose Hip Powder contains high levels of vitamin C, antioxidants and anti-aging properties. It is said that the powder can help brighten the skin.

Haitian Castor Oil (Lwil Maskriti) is high in vitamin E, minerals, proteins, omega 6, and other beneficial fatty acids including ricinoleic acid which plays a key role in drawing moisture to the skin.

Haitian Castor Oil can be used to fight acne and maintain healthy skin and hair. I have yet to meet a Haitian that doesn't have a bottle or two of this cultural staple in their home.
