Roucha's Founder, Jill Wenger, is known for curating the most forward and interesting in luxury fashion.⁽¹⁾
She founded the retailer Totokaelo and was the first to bring Comme des Garcons, Maison Margiela, The Row, Vetements, Javquemus and Dries Van Noten to the Pacific Northwest.
Wenger left Totokaelo in 2016 to create Roucha.
When designing Roucha, she applies the architectural, irreverent aesthetic she's come to be known for.

"Wenger's stock was one of the coolest in the business, with labels that included The Row, Dries Van Noten, Vetements, Jacquemus, and many more. [She] has a discerning eye for interesting and covetable fashion but also, as she discovered during her time with Totokaelo, a frustration with the way it's all sized.
The clothing in Wenger's new label is just as desirable and luxurious as those that she used to pull from the runways."
- Brooke Bobb, Vogue
"Wenger's versatile designs lean towards modern and minimal with a hint of street, and she has a definite archetype in mind when she designs: A self-assured, creative, intellectual woman who is empowered to live as she chooses."
- Julia Savacool, Barney's New York
