RETURN POLICY

OUR RETURN POLICYRoucha accepts returns on full price and some sale merchandise received in re-sellable condition within 30 days of order date.

Items that have Last Call in the Style Name (example LAST CALL_ Parse Pant) can be exchanged or returned for store credit.

Items that have Final Sale (zero styles currently) in the Style Name (example FINAL SALE_Pal Pant) cannot be returned.

Items that are on Sale, but not clearly labeled Last Call or Final Sale, can be returned for a refund or exchange.

Returns and Exchanges must be submitted thru Roucha's return portal.  Items for return must arrive to Roucha's warehouse within 30 days of order date. Please allow adequate transit time.

Returns are processed within 14 days of receipt and issued to the original form of payment

Return shipping is free for exchanges and returns for store credit.

If you request a refund, the return shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.

Apothecary items are final sale. This includes soap, fragrance, oils, candles and skincare products.

All original tags must still be attached to the garments. Be mindful of deodorant, makeup or perfume that may rub off, and beware of jewelry that may catch or tear fabric.

Damaged/Defective items:if you believe an item to be defective or damaged when received, you are required to contact hello@roucha.com before sending the style back.

Roucha reserves the right to reject any returning products that do not comply with the above stated return policy. Rejected items will be sent back to the original shipping address without any refund being processed. In order to avoid this, please contact our Client Service team to address any issues or concerns you have regarding the item(s) you wish to return.

INFINITE EXCHANGES

MAKING A RETURN WITHIN THE UNITED STATESReturns are processed within 14 days of receipt and issued to the original form of payment.  All goods must be received in resellable condition with original tags and packaging.

Our Return Portal will ask you to select the items for return and generate a return shipping label.  Please use this label to return goods.

 

MAKING AN EXCHANGE WITHIN THE UNITED STATES
If you'd like make an exchange, please select this option when using our return portal. When you Exchange, Roucha covers the shipping cost both ways.  Exchanges can be made for a different size, color, or an entirely new style. 

Exchanges are always sent to the exact same address as the initial order. 

We create your exchange order within one business day of your request. We send the new style when your return tracking becomes active. We do not wait until your original purchase is returned. 

If the requested styles for exchange cost more than what's being returned, we'll send a link to submit payment using our secure checkout.

 

RETURNS ON EXTRA LARGE ORDERS
There's a $4 per item restocking fee on all returns over 10 items.

SALE PRICE ADJUSTMENTS

OUR SALE PRICE ADJUSTMENT POLICYRoucha offers Sale Price Adjustments on items purchased up to 7 days prior to the commencement date of a sale. The exact style and size of an item must be available for purchase at the time your request is made before any adjustment in the sale price can be approved.

All approved Sale Price Adjustments will be issued as store credit on a gift card valid for 12 months.

We are unable to offer price adjustment on items originally purchased on sale or on special promotion items temporarily reduced in price. Once an item has been purchased at a discounted price, no price adjustment will be offered should the item be further marked down.

FAQ ORDERS

IF SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH MY ORDER, WILL I HAVE TO PAY TO FIX IT? Roucha company policy is that when we make a mistake, we cover all costs associated with fixing it.  That includes shipping costs, return costs, repair costs and customs fees when applicable. We’re big on taking responsibility when we goof. We’ll do whatever it takes to correct our mistakes.

 

CAN I UPDATE MY SHIPPING ADDRESS AFTER MY ORDER IS PLACED?We’ll try our best.  We fill orders within a few hours most of the time. But we understand that mistakes happen.  If you need to update your shipping address, please email us at hello@roucha.com or reply to your order confirmation email.

If the address was entered incorrectly and is invalid, we’ll try to retrieve the package from the carrier.

 

CAN I ADD AN ITEM TO MY ORDER BEFORE IT SHIPS?
We’ll try our best to add the style to your current order. If your order has already shipped, we’ll send in a second shipment.  

Send us an email and let us know what style, color and size you’d like to add to your order.  We’ll send you a link to submit payment through our secure checkout.  You’re able to use saved payment methods or Paypal, Amazon Pay, or Google Pay.

 

CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER BEFORE IT SHIPS?
We’re unable to cancel orders after they’ve been placed.

 

CAN I UPGRADE THE SHIPPING SPEED ON MY ORDER TO OVERNIGHT
We’ll try our best. Send us an email and let us know how soon you need the item. If there’s a balance due for expedited shipping, we’ll send you a link to submit payment thru our secure checkout.  You’re able to use saved payment methods or Paypal, Amazon Pay, or Google Pay.

 

WHEN I CHECK OUT ON PAYPAL, THERE'S NO FIELD FOR PROMO CODE OR GIFT CARD.
To use Paypal and a discount code in the same transaction, select CONTINUE TO CHECKOUT in Roucha’ shopping cart. Do not use the Paypal expedited checkout button as it zips users right past the discount field.

Once at checkout, enter the discount code and then select Paypal as the payment method.  Paypal does not make this very straightforward, but it is possible!

 

CAN I PUT AN ITEM ON HOLD?
We are unable to hold items.  However, you’re able to return items for a refund within 30 days.  And we offer Infinite Exchanges. You can send back any unworn items for exchange or store credit at any time.

 

DO YOU OFFER SALE PRICE ADJUSTMENTS? I ORDERED A FEW ITEMS FULL PRICE AND NOW THEY’VE GONE ON SALE.
Yes we do.  We extend sale price adjustments in the form of a gift card. To qualify, your order must meet three requirements: 

1- Order date is within seven days of the sale/promotion beginning
2- The exact color and size of goods purchased are still available on roucha.com
3- The original goods must have been purchased at full price

If any of the items you purchased meets these criteria, please email us at hello@roucha.com.  Include your order number, the styles names that qualify, and the phrase ‘sale price adjustment’.  We’ll issue a gift card straight away.

FAQ RETURNS

HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO MAKE A RETURN?
You have 30 days to return full price merchandise for a refund. Returned goods must be in re-sellable condition and arrive back to Roucha's warehouse within 30 days of order date. Allow adequate transit time. 

We offer Infinite Exchanges.  Which means there’s no time limit on exchanges. You can return unworn items any time for an exchange or store credit.

Exchanges are also free. We cover your return shipping cost and the cost of shipping the new items.
 

HOW DO I MAKE A RETURN?

Customers are required to use our Return Portal for all returns. The Return Portal is easy to use. You’ll be prompted to select the item(s) for return or exchange from your order. A return shipping label is created and also emailed to you.

 

DO YOU PROVIDE RETURN SHIPPING LABELS?
Yes.  We provide return shipping labels.  However, we only cover the cost of return shipping if you request an Exchange or Store Credit.

If you request a refund, the return shipping cost will be deducted from the refund.

 

DO I HAVE TO USE YOUR RETURN PORTAL?
Yes. Both domestic and international returns must be submitted thru our Return Portal. 

If you are based in the US, the return portal will create a return shipping label for you to use.  You are not required to use the return shipping label provided. However, we highly recommend. 

When you use our portal, we can track your return and are liable for lost or damaged return shipments.  Should you provide return shipping, Roucha is not liable for lost or damaged packages.

If you are not based in the US, the return portal will transmit your return request to us; however will not create a return shipping label. 

If you provide your own shipping method, include a copy of your pack list with your return so that we have your details and know how to get in touch.

 

WILL MY RETURN BE REFUNDED TO MY GIFT CARD OR CREDIT CARD
Refunds are issued back to the original form of payment. Gift cards are refunded first and any remaining balance is issued to the credit card.

 

DO I NEED AN RMA?
Yes.  A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) is created when you submit your return thru our return portal.  Do not send back items without creating an RMA.

 

I ALREADY CREATED A RETURN FOR TWO ITEMS BUT WOULD LIKE TO ADD ONE MORE ITEM TO THE SAME BOX. IS THAT OK?
Please include the additional item(s) inside the box. As long as the item(s) are from the same order, it’s an easy fix.

 

CAN I COMBINE MY RETURNS FOR 2 DIFFERENT ORDERS INTO 1 BOX AND ONLY PAY RETURN SHIPPING 1 TIME?
Yes you can. Please use our return portal two times, once for each order. You will be issued two return shipping labels. It is ok to combine both returns into one box and only use one of the return labels. You will not be charged for the label that was not used.

It’s important that both returns are initiated in our return portal.  We’ve had issues identifying returns in the past when multiple orders were combined, pack slips weren’t included and the portal wasn’t used.

 

I CREATED A RETURN LABEL YESTERDAY USING THE PORTAL. I NEED TO ADD AN ITEM. IT WON’T LET ME. WHAT DO I DO?
Our return portal will only allow you to create one return label per order.  So if you’ve already created a return label for your order, our system won’t let you make a second return using the same order number.

However, we can correct this manually. Please include any additional items in the same return box.  As long as all items in a return package are from the same order, it’s no problem to add extra items.

 

I PROVIDED MY OWN RETURN SHIPPING. DO I STILL HAVE TO PAY FOR RETURN SHIPPING?
You are only charged for return shipping if you use the shipping label we provide. If you use your own shipping method, the return shipping cost will not be deducted from your return.

If you created a label thru our return portal but used your own return shipping method, you won’t be charged. You are only charged if the label we provided is activated.

 

CAN I RETURN SALE ITEMS?
Items purchased on sale or using a promotional code follow the same return window and guidelines as full price merchandise unless clearly noted in both the style name and product page.

 

I FORGOT TO SEND BACK MY RETURN. IS THE RETURN LABEL STILL ACTIVE?
Return labels must be scanned by the carrier within 10 days of receipt. We advise shipping your return within 7 days of receiving the label.

 

I ALREADY TOOK THE TAGS OFF. CAN I STILL RETURN?
Unfortunately not. Styles must be returned with tags on.

WHAT IS AN INFINITE EXCHANGE?
We accept unworn items, purchased full price, for exchange at any time. Be it 30 days, 3 months or 6 months. If you change your mind, send it back.

We cover the return shipping cost on all domestic Infinite Exchanges. We also cover the cost of shipping your new order within the United States.

If you don't wish to select a new style straight away, we'll issue a store credit in the form of a gift card. Gift cards issued for Infinite Exchanges never expire.

If you purchased an item full price and the price has since been reduced, we offer even exchanges for the same style or a gift card for the current selling price.

If you purchased an item full price and the item is no longer available on roucha.com, we offer a gift card for the most recent selling price.

 

WHERE IS MY EXCHANGE ORDER SHIPPED?
Exchanges are always sent to the exact same address as the initial order.

DO I HAVE TO ORDER THE SAME STYLE FOR MY RETURN TO COUNT AS AN EXCHANGE?
You can select any style on Roucha.com to qualify for an exchange. You don’t have to select the same style, color or size for a new order to count as an exchange.

If you send a style(s) back, and request a new style(s) be sent in exchange, you’ll receive free shipping on the new style(s) and we’ll cover your return shipping cost.

 

HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO MAKE AN EXCHANGE?
There’s no time limit on exchanges made on unworn merchandise purchased full price. Items can be returned indefinitely. Hence the name Infinite Exchanges. We’ll always take back unworn items for exchange or store credit.

Exchange orders are created within 12 hours most of the time. Once we’ve created your exchange, the new item is reserved. We ship exchanges as soon as your return tracking becomes active.

If you’re worried about a size selling out, we suggest purchasing the last remaining item thru our website.

When using our portal to return the original item, select the Exchange option. In the field provided for you to request the new item for exchange, include your new order number.

We’ll treat the new order like an exchange and refund your shipping cost straight away.  We’ll also make a note in the original order to not deduct return shipping.

 

HOW DO I MAKE AN EXCHANGE FOR A STYLE THAT’S MORE EXPENSIVE OR ADD EXTRA ITEMS TO MY EXCHANGE?
Complete the exchange process per usual. When prompted to list the new item(s) you’d for exchange, please include all styles, even the new ones.

We’ll create a new order and apply the credit for the item(s) you’re sending back.  Since the new order is more than your prior order, there will be a balance due.

You’ll receive an email with a link to Complete Your Purchase. The link will take you to Roucha.com’s secure checkout where you can use your saved payment methods and Paypal,  Amazon Pay or Google Pay.

Once you've submitted payment, the exchange will be processed and the new order will enter our order queue. It will be released as soon as your return tracking becomes active.

Please note that styles are not on hold or reserved while waiting for payment.  They are only reserved once payment is submitted.

 

CAN I ADD MORE ITEMS TO MY EXCHANGE AND STILL GET FREE SHIPPING?
Absolutely.  Add as many items as you’d like to your exchange.  We’ll send you an invoice if there’s a balance owed for the new items. And we’ll cover your shipping on the new items, however many that may be.

 

I PURCHASED AN ITEM ON SALE AND WANT TO EXCHANGE IT FOR A DIFFERENT SIZE. BUT THE ITEM IS NO LONGER ON SALE. WHAT DO I DO?
If you want to make an exchange and the price of an item has since increased, we’ll honor the price you originally paid. It will be an even exchange.

When you exchange, we honor the original price paid.

 

I PURCHASED A STYLE AND WANT TO EXCHANGE IT FOR A DIFFERENT SIZE BUT NOW IT’S ON SALE.
If you want to exchange an item that has since lowered in price, we recommend repurchasing the item at the lower price. We are unable to issue exchanges and sale price adjustments in the same transaction.

We do everything we can think of to ensure our goods are ethically made. Along with requiring the proper certifications (ISO9001, ISO14001, SA8000), we visit our small handful of factories annually.

Our factory relationships begin with a connection made by a friend or company who shares our values and commitment to ethically sourced goods. We focus our production in the region of China where we have long-standing relationships.  

FAQ SIZE AND FIT

WHAT SIZE SHOULD I GET?
The dress size conversions offered on the product page are just a suggestion. Please use Roucha’s Size Chart for an exact recommendation.

What we’ve recommended is a starting place and only a suggestion.  Most clients purchase a variety of sizes based on how they want a specific style to fit.  For example, if you want pants to be cropped, purchase the shorter length (AA, BB or CC). If you want pants to be longer, purchase the longer length (A, B, C or D).

For an oversize look, buy one size larger.  We've designed all our clothing to be worn oversize without looking bulky.

 

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE IN LENGTH BETWEEN YOUR LONGER AND SHORTER SIZES?

In our Coats, the difference in length between the longer and shorter sizes is about 3 inches.

In our Tops, the difference in length between the longer and shorter sizes is about 2 1/2 inches.

In our Pants, the difference in length between the longer and shorter sizes is about 2 1/4 inches.

In our Jumpsuits, the difference in length between the longer and shorter sizes is about 3 inches.

In our Dresses, the difference in length between the longer and shorter sizes is about 2 3/4 inches.

HOW ROUCHA POINTS WORK
Receive one point for every dollar spent. Free gifts are awarded every 400 points accrued, which is equal to every 400 dollars spent. Recipients choose free gifts from a selection of our favorite things.

Points are issued after the return window expires, which is 30 days from order date plus the 10 days we require to process returns. We call this 40 day window the vesting period.

Points are logged in your user account directly after an order is placed. They vest for 40 days and are issued automatically when the 40 day vesting period expires. Once points are issued, they are immediately available to redeem for free gifts.

I'VE PURCHASED FROM YOU BEFORE. DO I HAVE AN ACCOUNT?
Not necessarily.  When you placed your order, you should have received an automated email inviting you to Create Your Account.  There's a link in the email that validates your email and activates your Roucha account.

We've noticed a large portion of these emails land in junkmail. So if you didn't receive your account activation email, forward your order confirmation email to hello@roucha.com with a quick note to "create member account". We'll resend the invite straight away.


HELP I DON'T SEE MY POINTS
Points are issued 40 days after order date. Even if you return part of your order within the first 10 days of the vesting period, we've designed the system to automatically issue points when the 40 day window expires in case more items from an order are returned.

Points are issued based on the portion of an order that is kept. Points are not issued for the portion of an order that is returned. If all the contents of an order are returned, no points are issued.

If an order is returned outside of the 30 day return window, you are eligible for exchange or store credit only. In this case, you will still receive points for the original order since a refund to the original form of payment was not issued.

 

I ORDERED BACK IN FEBRUARY AND DON'T SEE MY POINTSWe launched our Free Gift program on March 7 2021.  Only orders placed after this date qualify for points.  We have no way of applying points retroactively. 

SHIPPING

SHIPPING WITHIN THE UNITED STATESWe ship globally. The balance of Roucha's ship rates are posted at checkout.  Roucha uses UPS most of the time. Please note, UPS does not ship to PO boxes. USPS can be selected upon request.  However, we use UPS for 2-Day and Overnight shipments so PO boxes cannot be accommodated for express orders.

 

SHIP WINDOWS
Orders placed Monday through Thursday ship within 24 hours.  Orders placed between Friday 1:00pm EST and Sunday evening ship by Monday end of day.

International orders require extra love and paperwork and we need an extra day to fill.

CHANGE AND CANCEL REQUESTS
We try very best to react quickly to all customer requests. And we'll try our best to accommodate requests related to orders after they are placed. However changes to orders after they are placed are never guaranteed. Cancellations are not permitted.

 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We need an extra day to process orders with 10+ items.  Please note that the return window on extra-large orders is still 30 days from order date. There's a $4 per item restocking fee on all returns of over 10 items.
